Default Fender bib

Here it is, What do you think?
The license plate looks really bad with the fender clean so I built a bracket and moved it below the turn signals tonight. I'll put pics up of that later.diy-cheap-mods-dscn1519.jpg

I like it, does the job, looks good and didn't cost a ton of bucks.

I trimmed some of the fat off of my chrome lower belt guard to show off more of the chrome rear pulley.

Total cost...well if you have the right tools already in the shed...free! Just do a little tracing, get to handy dandy dremel out, and cut away carefully.

This isn't the best picture of the shaved guard, but if you look closely you can see the difference.

I got this idea from a friend...I can take absolutely no credit for this mod, other than being a copy cat .

I didn't read through all of the ideas yet? However I got an idea one day fooling around with the car. I had some left over colored wire loom and put the size that fit on the bike's spark plug wires, and that turned out rather nice looking I thought?

That inspried me to use some of the left over chrome looking loom on other areas of the bike. That works pretty well in some places but doesn't in other areas. If its in an area where it doesn't rub or catch a lot of wind then the chrome looking loom will work. However, given the nature of how the chrome looking loom is plated it's not like the colored loom and will chaff badly in areas such as brake lines and cables. I don't recommend it in those areas better to leave them as they are...

If you look at my garage you might be able to see what I did on the bike? Like I said very cheap mod almost free to me, as I already had the loom left over from the TA.

Took some of the advice from this thread and did up a nice set of baffles, lollipop style. Cutt down my V&H BR baffles to 4 1/2" then spent about $2 at Lowes on 2 thumbscrews 1/4" and 4 nuts. Drilled some holes through the baffles and put the thumbscrews inside out securing them in with the 1/4" nuts. It sounds great and Im sure did some justice with back pressure.
