Chris,

I like the look of those bags but I have the detachable luggage rack/back rest. Will those Boss bags work with this setup?

Mike

Yes it will, just make sure that Iron Bags knows that you have detachable sissy bar when you order so they can send you the right hardware. I have a detachable sissy bar for my bike.

Thanks Huey D. I think it will all come together when I get my seat back. Getting rid of the Bikers Friend on it too and putting a regular backrest on, leathered and dyed too.

The stock seat was so comfortable to me (did 1600 miles back and forth between Tx and Co, never had a problem) that i'm having it re-upholstered in leather by a saddle shop. He's doing a backrest for me too. I'm a single guy and wanted to keep the 2-up seat just in case, never know what's around the bend. Don't plan on taking the bags off for any reason so I didn't see the sense in buying a solo seat. I like having a place to carry anything I want or need. The bags come in real handy anytime I go anywhere, even if it's just to the store.

I really think my Iron Bags are the nicest quality I've ever seen, But I haven't seen them all. Good luck in your choice!
