New V&H exhaust formy Softail Deluxe
Been away for a while. Back and enjoying riding again (was out due to shoulder surgery). Anyway, did a few small things to pretty up the bike, while still maintaining that classic look.
1. Replaced the cowbell with flat chrome
2. Replaced the stock (103') air cleaner with the high output air cleaner.
3. Put flat chrome air cleaner cover, to match the new horn cover.
4. Put a few chrome nut covers and frame inserts.
5. New Exhaust! Looks so much better, again maintaining that classic look.
Any help with using the Auto-tune feature with the FP3 would be helpful feedback. Enjoy pictures below...

Looking good! Like the color scheme.
On the FP3, ride it a bit...at least 50 miles with the canned map, then follow the directions to do an autotune.
While riding with the autotune activated, just ride like you normally do. Try and cover all types of riding you do...back roads, interstate, traffic etc.
This will help it learn YOUR riding style. If you have to spread out the different types of riding over a few autotune sessions, no problem.
A lot of folks ride differently when doing an autotune, than how they normally ride (trying to fill in all the cells, or ???), but in doing that it is preventing the autotune from learning how You normally ride, so it will not give you the best tune for your riding style.
Also, don't hesitate to do as many autotune sessions as need to, as long as you are seeing improvement in each one.

DK - thanks. I was having weird issues getting the auto-tune process to begin, but finally found that it's not 'entirely' as straight forward as I would have thought. You actually have to crank the bike after the auto-tune starts. Otherwise, it just decides to be done. It was confusing why I kept getting a page with no tuning results at all. Anyway, took it for about a 45 minute ride yesterday, and a whole slew of data filled in. I should be riding all this week and able to get an idea of whether or not it's made any significant changes. I also set the throttle response to "standard plus", and will see how that turns out.
As it would seem, there are endless options, so I look forward to learning more about them.

Yes, i like the pipes but i am bias. When you get all done, how about let me know if you get any bubbling on deceleration. I have the SE Pro Race Tuner (2013) and my dealer can not get the decel rumbbling out. I hate the decel racket and am liable to buy a FP3 and start over on my own. By the way, nice color.
