Default chopped/bobbed rear fenders

looking for a winter project and decided to cut the the rear fender on my fatboy. Actually I'm going to pick up a cheap rear off ebay and cut that so I have my stock tins so I can switch back someday, but you get the idea.

so who's chopped their fenders? and please post a picture so I can be inspired and get ideas of the look I like

Thanks in advance

I bought a used Cross Bones fender off of eBay and cut it in the middle and shortened it 4 inches and lowered it 1 inch closer to the tire. The result is in the picture below.

I bought an old Fatboy fender, welded and relocated the strut holes, shaped the side radius and chopped both ends when I put the 200 mm on my Slim....

Default Front and rear

I found some fenders locally on Craigs, Saved my Stock fenders as well.

I cut @ 6-7" from the back of a stock Slim fender, mounted a Street Bob tail light with a doubler under the fender to avoid the cracking problem that HD had. The doubler is not visible unless you look under the fender.

The front was a Fatboy fender, but it is unrecognizable we cut so much out of it. You could use any HD fender that fits a softail when you chop a front.

It looks like it has aftermarket struts. What struts are they
