Don't hold me to it, but it looks like there's enough clearance to accommodate 4.5 inch pullback risers ...

Right Side Tool Box according to Harley does not fit the FLSS. WRONG, not in all cases, maybe they thought it would interfere with the shotgun exhaust. I don't know but I can tell you part number 64227-08 DOES fit. Problem is it only comes in evil chrome. I made one black and will mount it today. I don't have the OEM shotguns, if you do, you may try test fitting it as I did before purchase.

I test fitted a tool box. It will not work with the OEM shotgun style exhaust. Someone here modified the bracket to raise the box above the exhaust.

Can you post a photo of the mounting plate that came with your kit?!!

With stock exhaust... that is correct. They will not fit out of the box. With aftermarket exhaust, it fits without issues.

I fitted mine with the stock exhaust, but had to make a few modifications to the mounting plate. But got it to fit with the stock exhaust. Here, take a look:

And link to the install: Right side toolbox install

(Got this from JP Cycles - Black teardrop toolbox Part No. 7010095 also needed bracket Part No. 7010086 and a few modifications to make it fit with stock exhaust)

There are two different mounts for the box for softails, I tried the other one and the holes did not line up at the strut. The one I mentioned does line up. I'll take a pic of the bracket mounted and post it later, on the way to a funeral in 10 minutes. I figured it was the OEM shotgun that is the issue.

Be good to see a close up of your mount as I have the stock exhaust & was hoping to mount a tool box on the right. Just had an email from Wild Hog in Italy & my military style bags & hardware are on their way.

Not sure who that was addressed to... but here is my install:

Link to the install: Right side toolbox install

Got the parts from JP Cycles - Black teardrop toolbox Part No. 7010095 also needed bracket Part No. 7010086 and a few modifications to make it fit with stock exhaust

I made a small bracket and also needed a small spacer (I will measure it when I get home since I have another one...)

Photos are in that link...
