Hi, I am the owner a Rocker C, I like my bike but I am displeased with the stock seat, becaus is high and forward. I prefer the seat from the modelo Fxcw, but there are a problem!...my wife. I dont want install the fxcw seat because she like ride with me, and buy the fxcw seat, the Touring System Strut Kit and the pillion seat, here in Spain itīs a lot of money.

I saw photos of this bike and the owner lowered the seat. He used the storage for the second seat and lowered the seat using this space. (I storage the passenger seat in my house, never under the seat of the bike)

someone made this mod???

 

I have a Danny Gray seat on my rocker with saddle gel and it is great. Puts you back and down about two inches and very comfortable. When my wife rides, which is rare, I bolt the stock setup back on. Not a great seat, but works for the little she rides.
The Danny Gray seat is about $350 dollars here.
Like you said, those alternate one hd sold is very pricey.

Regardless of price on the HD touring strut setup, I have yet to hear of anyone finding one in the past few years, so I think another option would be needed.

 

I'd sell my stock rocker c seat and passenger set up if anyone is interested.

Valdemar, I wouldn't bother trying to rebuild a stock seat. I would just get the Danny grey seat and be done with it.

 

Hi. i have curiosity about the danny grey seat. About how fit the seat in the bike. The danny grey seat touch all time in the rear fender? How fit the d.g seat in the battery zone?

The Danny gray seat does touch the rear fender. If I remember correctly they will provide you with a piece of 3M clear film which you can put on the rear fender in the area where the seat touches it. That will prevent the paint from being damaged.

The 3M clear film is almost invisible so you won't see it unless you're looking for it.

The seats fits perfectly with the battery.

It's a good seat, you won't regret the purchase.

 

My question is about how the seat fit in the zone under the seat. Do is the seat touching all time the plastic cover battery with your height? Because the original seat fit in two rubber pieces when the seat fit.

The Danny grey seat fits fine on top of the battery. It won't cause any issues. There is a plastic cover on top of the battery.
