Got the rear master cylinder rebuilt and all the brake lines installed and bled. Installed the battery and exhaust and most of the wiring run. Picked up the gas tanks and fenders from the painter this morning. If all goes well the bike will be finished this weekend.

 

Couple of shots of the finished bike. Fired right up just like a champ. Have a few things left to adjust before the first ride. Never enough time to do what you want to do.

as a one time owner of a new 78 low rider it makes me feel good to see one of these old beauties looking so good

 

Yeah............. and don't think it ain't a weekly battle to keep it that way! I had to rent a storage building to keep all our junk in so I could have some room in the shop. My pickup truck resides in the empty spot since it is too long for our garage.

 

Nice job on your project. Big difference from start to finish>

 

I hear you on that If I had that much room I'd just have that more stuff to deal with knowing myself , I'm still jealous .
