Only suggestion is be prepared for a LONG line/wait to cross Hoover Dam, LOTS of MAJOR construction going on... try and leave as early as possilbe to avoid traffic... building a major road/bridge across the low side of the dam... pretty neat to see but can be LOTS of traffic... If you have $$$ best way to see Grand Canyon is from a Chopper...

+1 to that. I made the mistake of trying to get over the Dam in the afternoon on Memorial Day... After inching along in the backed up traffic I stopped at the lookout so the bike and I could cool down. Thermometer at the lookout said 106F.
