don't fool yourself... it was a fumble. so was the one in the 3rd quarter that they called correctly on the field and then incorrectly overturned after review.

both times the QB was hit BEFORE the arm began a forward motion... so that should've been a fumble... both should've been fumbles.

[quote=pensacolaharley;4486350]The official that made this holding call however was 5-10 yards down field and the back of the defender was blocking his view... from his vantage point there is absolutely no way he could've seen a hold!

Unless you were standing in his shoes it's impossible to say what he did or did not see from his vantage point. Evidently he saw the hold. Watching the game on TV is'nt the same as being on the field and seeing it.

Yeah for the steelers. Somebody had to win that debacle of a super bowl, the first half anyways. I understand it got good and exciting in the second half. I had been bored to tears and went to bed after the 1st half.

I didn't see the fumble in the 3rd quarter but I have seen plenty of replays of that last cardinal possesion and from different angles of the last play by Warner, that was a incompleted forward pass all day long. You can see his arm going forward on every angle of the replay.

I am neither a cardinal nor steeler fan and I could give a rats arse who won.

BS THAT OFFICIAL COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY SEEN A HOLD FROM HIS VANTAGE POINT UNLESS HE COULD SEE THROUGH THE DEFENDER? AND SINCE THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE THERE IS NO WAY HE COULD HAVE SEEN A HOLD!

Harrison should have been ejected for that display, heat of the moment is just a lame excuse. Go STEALERS.

I'll say yeah he probably should've been ejected... but since he hasn't ever displayed that type of behavior before wouldn't you like to know why he did what he did?

I would.

Not excusing his behavior but I'd like to know what drove him to do that?

Your view from your TV set is'nt the same as being on the field. Did the rep call the hold? Yes he did. Was there a hold? Yes there was. Evidently he saw it. Case closed.

Ejected? For that? I don't think so.
