I have had the same problem with my order with Nexl. I ordered a helmet on 4/2/07 and was told (via the website) that the helmet would ship in 4 weeks. After 6 weeks I began sending emails and leaving phone messages. No response to any of them. Like TOSBL, I paid for my order through GOOGLE Checkout.

GOOD NEWS!!!! I contacted GOOGLE Checkout support on 6/18/07,explaining my problem and asked how I might get a refund. I got a return email 4 or 5 hours later from Checkoutsaying that they would contact Nexl and I would be contacted by Nexl or GOOGLE within 5 days. I just got an email from GOOGLE today (6/22/07) saying that my order has been canceled and a full refund has been issued to my card! I logged onmy GOOGLE checkout account as well as Nexl's site and confirmed that my order has been cancelled and my money refunded. Hopefully the rest of you can get the same results by going through GOOGLE. The email address is.... checkout-support@google.com

I hate that we are all going through this. I ordered a helmet from Nexl in 2004 and still wear it today. I just hate that their customer relations has gone so sour.

Same story here.. This is a straight up scam. Protested the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the BBB after 2 months of BS.

Doesn't really matter though, they responded to the complaint with the following, and thus closed the BBB complaint.

A number of these outfits have their helmets made overseas. That would make for the delays. They can't control what is made and when it's being shipped, all they are doing is selling the end product as fast as they can sell the "picture" of the helmet.

And this, folks, is why you go to a dealer and buy a helmet as opposed to ordering one online. You know it fits that way, too, because you tried it on already.

Hey all, I somehow found a number on Google while doing a search that wasn't the 831-786-1800 number which is now disconnected and i spoke to Gil's wife. She said that he had killed himself on October 17th!!! I was shocked but also a little suspicious but if it is true, we will not be getting our money back. It's a shame because the helmets look pretty damn nice. Any way, I just wanted to share this info with all of you. Good luck.

Update, there is an attorney in California that is supposedly handleing the liquidation of NEXL Sports. His name is David Parker and he had called me back after I left him a message regarding the fact that my money was taken and I received no helmet. His number is 831-915-0081. Good luck all, it looks like there is a chance that you "MAY" get your money back, but again, who knows.

I ordered a NexL helmet on 07/05/07 and paid by check. This order was made directly to the company from their web site. They confirmed the order and deposited the check for $204.95.
Over their web site , they stated that it would be shipped by 07/30/2007. After this time expired, I began trying to call them and e-mail them. They did not reply to the messages left by phone or e-mail. They finally posted on the web siteon 09/24/07 that the order had been cancelled and a refund check had been issued. A month late, there was no refund check. I have contacted the CaliforniaConsumer Affairs and the California Attorney General's office. As of today, 11/21/2007, I haven't received a refund check or any otherreply. This company is no more than a scam. Beware......

I have had 1 for 3 years now...great helmet...HOWEVER, I heard original guy who created the helmet had died about 1+ years ago, originally
they said the company was going fodl because family didn't want to run it.....then I heard they re-opened and as people can attest here customer
service is horrible now, I have not heard of anybody succesfully getting one this year.
