A mate of mine has been dealing with Chicago Harley over here in Australia but lately his order went missing and they will not return his emails. I noticed a few of you mentioned them in another thread about "where do you buy your parts", I thought someone might be able to shed some light on what could be going on.
Cheers,
FXST.

I live in Chicago and Chicago Harley is the dealership I deal with. If worse comes to worse, then tell me and I'll yell at them for you. The owner is Marty. He's very professional and I'm sure things will get sorted out real quickly if you talk to him.
Thanks guys, my mate received an email from them this morning saying there has been a total re-structure, changing postal services, merging departments, firing of staff, and they are posting it to him free with a few gifts included to make him feel better. Not a bad line of excuses I suppose.
He has been waiting over 4 weeks for the parts and they haven't even sent them yet but he was billed for them. He tried emailing them countless times to see what was going on but there was no response at all from Chicago HD. A couple of months ago I sent them a email asking a few questions about freight cost etc and the email I got off them, reading between the lines, virtually said go away it's all to hard and we aren't interested.
Maybe international customers don't mean to much to them but surely a quick email explaining why the delay in service wouldn't go astray.
I know I will not do business with them even though they have a 20% discount for international customers. Hal's Harley has a 15% discount that I am happy with because I would rather pay a bit more for service then put up with CHD arrogant attitude.
