How good are these plugs? My wife seriously needs a set. She has had three ear operations and requires them. Too expensive to keep replacing them.

I guess if you have never tried them... you will never know. I take my bike on the highway everyday. Hmm no cows there.... Around town, maybe not all the time. But on the highway at 80 mph... if I could just enjoy the ride and not hear the wind ( at that speed) then it is worth it.
My Sales pitch didn't say anything about wind noise and ear damage.. just the fact that the wind is loud and why not cut it down a bit.
Those who try earplugs (not necessarily the custom ones) usually like them. If you have tried them and don't like them then fine... don't knock it till you try it.
Most people I have talked to that work in factories have had an audiologist come in to the factory and make these for anybody that wanted them. You can still use the little foam ones too but hey... most people like a little custom doo-dad or two... right?
And YES, they do work. Around the yard, in the garage, on the bike, or at work.
these work great for me.....I hate getting off the bike after a long ride and my ears are plugged. Heartech FliteMates,

There is a ton of evidence on hearing damage from wind noise while riding a motorcycle. I just don't like it and prefer to listen to music instead. I thought about the custom molded stereo earplugs but they are priceyso Igot the $99 Shures and they work great to cut the wind noise even when no music is playing. They come witha bunch of different size attachements for your ear to get a good fit.
You should try a set of these... you can wrap them around you headphones.
Or
Just keep them as backups for when you just want Earplugs. www.stuffforriders.com
For Jeff, I've been riding since 1966. I am now below the legal line that defines deafness in my state. I can't hear voices at all without hearing aides... big ones. I'm still riding and always with ear plugs to save what little hearing I have left.

Hearing loss is not caused solely by 90+db constant noise as anyone who shoots knows. Given the amount you say you ride you're very fortunate to have no hearing loss. Everyone's luck rund out at some point. Please wear the ear plugs and save your hearing.

So basically what you are doing is spamming. Your OP was worded such that it sounded like you were supporting a product that you had just discovered and purchased, now you are advertising that you will give members a discount on the product. Sounds like spam to me!
