I still think if they reburned my ECM the rattle would go away. It's only when it's warm and it runs ruff because it's so lean. I shifted into 6th today at 50 when my engine was cold and no rattle. Opp's was that to soon to shift? Why didn't the motor or trans. just fall apart?

Im guilty! Of not being able to spell every word exactly but give me a break if you cant understand me or the rest of us who mess up, you are the kid cause a educated adult can read between the lines and figure things out. Some of us grew up in the real world not in cyberspace. I never worked a keyboard till a few years ago when my son kept on my a$$ (thats ass if you missed it), so he could e-mail me, and spelling words was not a daily part of my working life, building and operating several of my own companies. You sir sound like one of those Honda troll's that come here to stir us up! 99% of us are not slamming harleys except those draggin bagger guys. LOL We are just kicking around ideas and some venting and as for d-rod he just cant find anywhere else to use the word "fudge packers" LOL

Just had to say something.... some of these messages have such poor grammar that it is hard to understand what they are saying... if you can't come close to the actual spelling, run your text through a spelling checker so the rest of us can understand what you are talking about. wait not waight, warranty not warrenty, questionaire not questenair, commute not comute, disgusted not discusted... or maybe it is just kids slamming Harleys.

We spell it like it sounds after listening to the clattering. It is a side effect from hearing damage from the clattering.

You might be talking about me. I picked my bike back up from the dealer after an 18 day stay. They had pulled the primary and removed the compensator nut, relocktied and torqued the nut. That got rid of the rocks in a can noise. Now I can hear my lifter rattle and my 5th gear whine and watch my timing cover turn blue to match my pipes. Am I a happy camper?--- I don't think so, it's going back to the dealer tommorrow. Wish me GOOD LUCK

This retorque could cure many owners complaints, but by agreeing to do this under warranty, does it say a problem may exist?
