Apparently I'm not the only one who's sick of all the Amsoil BS.

post the number of the used car/title pawn shop your an engineer so people can call and waster your time if stuck in traffic or waiting for old lady etc. and bored .
I am usually for the small guy and would buy your product if it was close to the same as one I am using.I get Mobil 1 15-50 for $26 @ wally world for 6 gallons that I use in engine and rotella T $10 a gal in other holes as it 1)does the job great in gears and clutches on big diesel rigs and marine applications 3)Harley approves it 4) diesels have cleaning agents not allowed in cars anymore because it messes up catalytic converter
but I am not going to pay more money for your stuff because of your marketing tactics

I think "Lubrication Engineer" took his "commercials" and went home.

Default AMSOIL and Sturgis

Lubrication Engineer is too busy selling oil, record sales to die-hard Harley riders. The 2009 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally continues and the traffic in the booth continues to be brisk. Potential customers continue to stop in at the booth to find out more about why AMSOIL is the "Official Oil of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally". The weather on the second day of the rally is absolutely gorgeous; 80 degrees and sunny with light winds - a perfect day for walking the famous Sturgis Main Street or for riding through the Black Hills. And everywhere you look you can see promotions designed to let people know that they need to use AMSOIL in order to best protect their bike.

The recently updated "Study of Motorcycle Oils" White Paper continues to be a popular item in the AMSOIL booth, which is located on Main Street. As people take a look at this study they sometimes can't believe how poorly their oil has performed when subjected to this testing. Seeing the data in this study can quickly change a person's perspective.
The best story that we have heard so far is from a customer who complained that once he had put the Severe Gear 75-140 in his bike he couldn't hear the "5th gear whine" any longer and couldn't tell if he still had another gear! We enjoy hearing great stories just like this one.

The Sturgis Rally has a few more days to go and we will keep you updated on events surrounding our promotion of AMSOIL and the AMSOIL Dealer network at this great event.

AMSOIL SAVES MOTORCYCLISTS LIFE!!

During a recent trip out west, an east coast Harley-Davidson rider and his wife were riding their bike through the 110 degree heat of the Arizona desert. After riding for 6 hours, they stopped at a motel for the night, and before dozing off to sleep, the man suddenly jumped up in bed, turned on the light and exclaimed to his wife: "I just realized that if we had not had AMSOIL in our motorcycle today, that the engine could have overheated, locked up while we were traveling down the road, and we could have been severely injured, or even killed! Thank God for AMSOIL, it saved our lives!"

Lubrication Engineer......feel free to use this story in your next "copy and paste".

From the Amsoil FAQ page;

FAQ's:

(Q) What negative impact will it have if I refuse to use Amsoil in my Harley?

(A) It could create an unnatural flow and lead to a possible timing paradox, the results of which could create a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe! Granted that's a worst case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy.

Seriously, Amsoil is a good Group 4 fluid, just like many of the higher quality Group 4 and Groups 5 synthetic fluids available on the market, but the constant "sales pitch" does get old after a while....

Hd4evr2008, nah man you got the story all mixed up. The real story was, this guy had just changed his Hd360 oil over to Amsoil. So he went for a ride with his buds. When out of nowhere he hit a 2 foot deep pothole. Well he lost control went down hard and by the time the meat wagon came for him, he was a goner. As he lay there in the street some of his newly changed Amsoil started slowly leaking out of his bike and touched his hand. I say slowly as Amsoil maintains its viscosity under any conditions as stated in the white papers. Just as they were pulling the white sheet [or paper] over his head, his hand started to move, then his body shook, then he got up shook his head and wanted a beer. After that he said he felt fine and continued the ride. That amsoil is great stuff. True Story.,,,
