I'm sure not gonna tell someone to not like something that's not for Me.I gotta agree that rock (ALL NEW MUSIC IN GENERAL) has gone all to chit. That's why I'm stuck in the past like you said.I listen mostly to classic rock, classic country and the blues.

as a musician, i try to listen to about everything at one time or another...that being said,
i cant believe some of the crap that is being passed off as "music"these days
it saddens me to think that there are people out there that cant even speak 2nd grade english, that are multi-millionaires
i realize the draw of irritating ones parents, hell i did it myself, i just dont see the idea of dumbing down the culture or trying to involve ones self in someone elses...there's no talent involved with sampling an old motown hit's hook , repeating it[looping] and spewing some unintelligeble gibberish over it....i just cant believe our kids are that dumb! i will be so glad when this trend dies....just hate to see whats next!

No can't stand it, its not music its just noise. As a matter of fact I can't stand the whole Hip Hop life style, nothing but a bunch of thugs and bad ass want to be's. How anyone could consider it music is beyond me. No singing, no real music being played by real musical instruments, just idiots talking real fast to some electronic beat. Its crap.

If I offended anyone I'm sorry, but you still have crappy taste in music. Just my .02 worth

Hmmm. I wonder if our parents (grandparents) said the same thing about rock and roll?

This is why I gave up on country several years back. F*** all of the good ones that might be long in the tooth. The only thing you would hear is some young prick in a new hat sing his one hit wonder and then disappear. All of the songs nowadays in the hip hop and pop worlds are remakes of old 70's & 80's songs. Makes me wish I still had hair so I could get back into that Flock of Seagulls look! Just Kidding!
