I am a country girl, but when you go out to the bar and they have a dj, that is the stuff that they play cause that's the stuff that you can dance to.

Gotta do what ya gotta do!

Not much new to listen to in the rock world. Tired of the same ol same ol, repeat x 1000. Rock is going downhill, and I have been/am a big fan. Some of us are living in the past. That's cool, if it's your thing. I grew up on rock and roll. Been to so many concerts I can't count. Seen almost every big name act I wanted to.

Hip Hop is happening, if you like it or not. My wife turned me on to it about 8 years ago. I didn't like much of it at first. And I still CAN'T STAND alot of it. Especially r&b slow stuff and junk that should only be played on country or soft rock stations. And some of the hard stuff, I don't like. But I do like some of it, I must admit.

I'm sure not gonna tell someone to not like something that's not for Me.I gotta agree that rock (ALL NEW MUSIC IN GENERAL) has gone all to chit. That's why I'm stuck in the past like you said.I listen mostly to classic rock, classic country and the blues.

Only as long as it takes me to turn on my lights, stop the car and tell the driver to turn off his radio. I can't stand being next to someone at at stop light and hear the persons music next to me over my radio.
