Why do bikers want everyone to think they are truck drivers?
Why do cowboys wear tennis shoes? They don't want people to think they are truck drivers.

Trucker "wallets" are not the same as biker "wallets". Trucker wallets are the original. A lot longer to hold checks and other trucker chit. About a foot long. Biker wallets are shorter. With a chain like trucker wallets. So, ya don't lose it. But, shorter to fit better in the rear pocket. I have a "biker wallet" that I have had for about 20 years. The chain has been gone for a while. Still serving me well. Friends tell me I squeak when I walk. But I like the one I have.

Around here, those are known as "chain drive wallets."

I just started carrying one about a year ago after I received it as a gift. Figured I had to..

But now I'd never own anything else. Never worry about losing my wallet anymore.

I have one that I bought at the dealer. I used to wear one all the time back in the day.
Now I only wear it when I ride. I almost lost my wallet awhile back. I did cut the chain shorter when my riding bud told me it was long enough to find its way to the rear wheel.
Something to think about.

I haven't found one I like yet either. Most don't seem to be of good quality. And the ones at the truck stops are very cheaply made as I drive a truck and check them out.

One word of warning, do not attempt to go into a court house with a chain attached to your wallet. Security claims it can be used as a weapon, and wanted to keep it. Naturally, it ended back on the scoot.
