I use Spybot Search and Destroy it's a free download.

http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

Works pretty good at finding stuff that Norton doesn't and keeps my confuser pretty well oiled.

For a SAFE site to download all your free software go to Majorgeeks.com. It is awesome.

Whatever you do, don't download or run the malware remover that the site is trying to direct you to. The same thing happened to my wife while I was at work several years ago. It tricks you into downloading the trogan virus and then it embeds itself into various files. I had to have Geek squad come out to fix it, No matter how many times I ran the software to eliminate it it resurfaced. At least the OL had sense enough not to put in her credit card and personal info when prompted by the so called malware removal. It was a very good fake though. It came up and looked just like a windows security threat. It could have been much worse.
