Do women realy watch porn?

Friend of mine last night and I was talking and the discussion of women and porn popped up. He told me that his wife watches it a lot more then he does. In fact, he seemed to think she likes it a lot. My wife doesn't care for it and thinks that for the most part women find porn boring. What is your take??? Do they like it?

Sometimes. I rather read it (think steamy, erotic novel here) than watch it for the most part. Men are just hardwired to be more visually stimulated than women. I find myself getting irritated by the generally poor acting and stupid dialogue which is a distraction, and is why I like good, well-written erotica more.

I've read Anne Rice's stuff. Not bad. The Taming of Beauty is, shall we say, interesting. Laurell K. Hamilton writes some pret-ty entertaining stuff too, but I digress.

My wife watches it though usually when I'm working late or away. While we have watched it together in the past - we tend to want to do it rather than watch it....
