You know, I like the show too. I've read a lot of negitive stuff about it but hell, it's a TV show for God's Sake. It's entertainment. I know it's not real. The Hulk was not real either but a lot of people liked it. You know it's good writing when you find yourself rooting for a bunch of drug/gun dealing crooks (LOL). Same thing with The Shield.
Yes, I agree. I'm not one to condone violence or breaking the law, far from it. But the characters, especially Jax, are thrown into a pandoras box of "Right" vs. "Wrong" and the writers are pulling us into it. It would have been so easy for "Clay" tonight to say screw-it, and go to war, but he saw beyond that, sort of like the needs of the many ought-weight the needs of the one. On the other hand, the writers chose that the Mexican Mayans (and it dosn't need to be Mexican here, could have been Russians or anyone for the writers purposes, please don't call me a racist, Mexican blood flows through my veins) would hold to the ethical code of the proposed MC. The Mayan leader let "pride" get in the way. Clay reached out to Jax tonight when he said "V.P. whats your opnion" or something close to that. There really is no cut "good vs.evil" in this drama, it's a grey drama, with people dealing with whats dealt to them, minus the few characters that are trying to externalize and view from the outside. Anyhow, very good writing as we speak.
Good show tonight.. I look forward to watching each week...

I wonder what Jax meant when he said "I never had to kill anyone like that before". Does that mean he's never killed before? By his reaction to the whole thing, that's what I figure. Now that he has the taste of blood, I bet it'll get a lot better.
I would not have had a problem being one of the extras riding in that pack of bikes as long as I'd get to keep the colors...as a momento.
Gonna be a cat fight next week!! Gemma's gonna take on the snarky ATF chick!
Looked like Jax was trying to throw away his fathers book, but he hasn't read the whole thing yet, he doesn't know yet what happened to his father. That should be an interesting twist.
I like the funny stuff also like the chief lighting up a doober and saying "What?, it's for my cancer, I have a card"!!
