What I think is interesting about that post is this, I just watched Patton the other day with George C. Scott and I can picture him saying those same words. Dad served with him in the war and it sure does sound like something that he would say.

Yes, Ike fired him, because he was an ultra right wing embarrassment. HOWEVER, he was one of the best war fighting generals we have ever had. We need a lot more kick ass folks like him and a hell of a lot less whiners, wouldn't most of you say?
