Prosperity South Carolina, use to be call Frog Level. I don't give a crap, and you shouldn't either. Its about 120miles from the Blue ridge Mountains and about 140 from the beach, thats the good part. It's a small town, and I know most of the people. Not much crime ( read Mayberry ).Andy and Barney keep it quiet. I live in a pre- civil war house. Large but remodeling is expensive. I'm in town and have 5 acers of land. Good little resturants.

Midland, either named because it is midway between Fort Worth and El Paso on the old rail line or because it's in the middle of freakin' nowhere, three hundred miles to anywhere.

Seriously, I've lived a bunch of places and I prefer Midland to any of them.

Our river, the St. Johns, is one only a handful (forget how many) that flow North. The Nile isanother one that does and I believe there may be one more but I'm not sure.
The New River also flows north. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Riv...nawha_River%29

"Remember the Alamo"

189 Defenders held off 4000 Mexican troops for 13 days which enabled Sam Houston to gather troops that eventually one the war at San Jacinto.

San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas and has over 20 million visitors a year.

The world famous River Walk.

Two great things for Newnan Georgia. First Alan Jackson the country singer was born and raised here and GAGIRL is also from newnan and she looks way sexier in photos than Mr. Jackson.

How about where I work... Most consider it the real GROUND ZERO. As in if the nukes get dropped someday, they will hit here first... WHERE AM I? It is also known as the largest office building in the world with $10,000 toilets!

My hometown, Lynchburg, Va., has just been named one of the 50 top places in the U.S. by National Geographic Adventure Magazine to live and play. Hiking, biking, paddling, hunting, fishing, etc., etc. Rivers, streams, mountains, valleys, Southern hospitality, its all here. The James River flows east to the Cheasapeak Bay, the Roanoke River flows south into Pamlico Sound, the Shanadoah flows north into the Potomac, and the New River flows West into the Ohio.
Patrick Henry's place is just down the road at Red Hill. Tom Jefferson's up the road at Montecello. Then theres R.E. Lee, George Washington, Jamestown, Yorktown, Appomattox Court House, Bull Run, Petersburg, Richmond, Williamsburg, New Market, Langley, the largest navel base in the world - Norfolk, George Washington Carver, Virginia Beach, blue crabs, tobacco, Hanover tomatoes, Nelson County apple brandy, Shenadoah apples, Franklin County moonshine, Halifax cantalopes, Smithfield country hams, whipperwills, flowering dogwoods, front porches, Arthur Ashe.....I can go on.
