Default 2014 Streetglide Vivid Black paint correction

Ive always been disappointed with the black paint on my 14 SG. So I finally set the time aside to correct the factory paint. I do auto and motorcycle detailing professionally.

Fot anyone wanting similar results here are the steps.
Deep wash and clean.
Dry fully
Clayed paint and chrome to remove contamination.
Using a 3 inch dual action polisher with Yellow black diamond foam pad and Scholl S3 Gold XXL then Red foam pad with Scholl S30+ finishing polish
Seal with Zaino Z5 pro polymer paint sealant.

This fixes the swirls, scuffs and scratches. Not just masks them like many of of the black tint wax products on the market currently.

My front fender on my black 14 SGS certainly doesn't seem to stand up in durability to my other black Harleys. Lot of chips. Would it be worthwhile for you to show a picture of how your bike turned out? Also what is a "deep wash and clean"?

Deep cleaning is a washing process using a mild detergent product or isopropyl alcohol based mixture to carefully strip old wax and products that may have been used.

I'm a detailer by trade and I'm a firm believer in black waxes. They simply work if the weather is right. Too humid and they will haze and be a pita. No substitute for a good polish and glaze but for monthly use, they really help black for the average user.

Any insights or tips on using a clay bar? I've always been hesitant to try it out. My wife's black car desperately needs it. I'll read up and practice on her car.
