Default cell phone mount ultra classic

hi I have a 2015 ultra classic with the 6.5 boom infotainment system. getting real sick of using its GPS and want to mount my samsung galaxy s7 edge to the handlebars and maybe hook up the vocals of the phone to the speaker system. any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

I looked around a lot and ended up getting the HD Phone Carrier Mount that bolts on to the handlebar switch packs, either right or left side. Then went with the universal phone carrier that mounts to it.

I use a Ram mount that attaches to the brake master cylinder clamp. It works awesome. I use the gps and Bluetooth music on my phone. I don't care too much for the Harley gps most of the time either. I've found this mount very reliable. I went to the Ram website to find all the parts. Then bought it all off amazon. Cost me about 35 bucks. Only downfall is I have to take my phone out of the case and have to take it off mount if it rains. But that's pretty rare.

I got a nice one...it's called "the locked hard bag." Not trying to be a d*#k, but riding is for enjoyment...in my book, electrical doo-da's stay stowed. If I get lost, there's a small atlas. Phone only comes out to check messages and comfort OL until I get home.

Anyway...back on topic...RAM is good option (mentioned above) if that's your gig.

Take a look at the RAM mounts as shown on the 3rd reply. Great mounts.

Hope the phone mount works well for you. I have not had any issues with the 6.5 info system. Always gets me where I need to go

As expensive as cell phones have gotten, I am reluctant to use one. Maybe what I need to do is buy an unlocked go phone with a pay as you go data plan strictly for Google Maps navigation use when I travel.

Default Tech Grip

I think by far the Tech Grip is the best one on the market. I have had mine on two bikes now. Never a problem. Law Abiding Biker sells the same one, different decal. Number of different mounts. Mine has never slipped, even on Iowa's rough roads. Just my opinion.

I also use the Ram system for my phone. I'm not lucky enough to have a new enough bike for the Boom radio. I do use it for music with the 3.5 mm headphone jack to the radio input jack. It works well. And no, I don't check my texts, emails, etc while its in the mount.
