Hey gang, I thought that i'd drop a quick post to introduce myself;
My name is Duke and I've been building and riding for 30ish years. I like all types and brands of motorcycles and i've been knuckles deep in just about every major make!! I just sold my beloved XLH 1000 and my 2009 ZX6R in order to afford the new 2010 Fatboy Lo in denim black.
The FatBoy really grabbed me by the balls and "shook me" It was love at first sight.
I took the bike for a test ride and though it didn't have the torque of my old sportster, or the speed of my 110hp ZX6R there was something about the bike that i liked enough to go deep in debt for
Anyway; I live in Edmonds wa. with my wife of 22years (She owns a 2010 883 Iron denim black) she has been riding by my side (NOT behind me) for 20 years. we have riden everything from vintage cafe' bikes, antique Vespas and Lambrettas, NSU, Modern Sport bikes, harleys...etc.
I don't belong to any clubs (Except H.O.G.) and mostly ride solo unless my wife decides to warm up her 883 Iron.
One day I might like to ride with a few folks from the area. Though I like the freedom of small groups.
I work full time as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Yukon Gear in Everett washington. I have worked as a fabricator, draftsman, machinist, tooling designer, auto technician, autobody restoration, motorcycle scooter repair, tattooist and Pinstriper. Yea, i've worn a lot of hats
that's about it...If you all have any questions or comments please feel free to post!!
