Hi Guy's, hope someone can give me some advice.I bought a 1991 fat boy and the guy I bought it from took all of the turn signals off the bike, including the switches, wiring(front and rear),and the turn signal module.Well I have a service manual for the bike with wiring diagram. So I put the lights back on the bike, put all wiring back in place and put the module back on.All wire connections are good,I soldered the connections and put heat shrink over the joint. Now for the problem.the turn signals will not work, none of them,Pin 1 has a good ground, and pin 2 has 12 volts on it.I even have 12volts between pin 1 and pin 2,but they still wont flash.I have 12 volts coming down from each switch to its proper pin on the module, but no flash.the only way i can get them to flash is to use a jumper wire and momentarly touch the wire coming from the switch to the wire going to the lights while holding down the turn signal switch. This will start the lights blinking and will continue to blink until you cancel them by pushing the switch again.I can do this with each side and the lights will blink as they should.I thought I had a bad module and bought another from a guy who said the lights were working fine when he took it off.I put it on my bike and it did the same thing as the one I took off.The module I bought has the same part # as the one that came with the bike,so I am now doubting that I have two bad modules ,I'm thinking I've over looked something. If anyone has any thoughts on the problem I am all ears. Thanks for any help you can offer
