Default Stupid but True and involved only me!

To start with I ride a 2003 Heritage Softail Springer and I also own a 1995 BMW R1100RS for when i want to lean into curves. About two years ago I went for a ride on my Bimmer. Road a lot of back roads did a lot of leaning and stupid things. Returning home kind late in the afternoon almost dust. Started up my driveway, stood up (as usual) pressed the button on my garage opener. Doors goes up as I ride closer. I sit down goosed the throttle. The door goes down. Lays me down and off the back of the bike. My wifes auto was in the garage Bike misses it and stands up against a work bench. Four back surgeries and two stints in my heart and I am back on the bike. Thinking about selling the Bimmer and keeping the FLSTSI. I got to ride again starting in July of this year. Going to do the Dragons tail next week.

Sooner or later, generally the younger you are the quicker it happens. We all make a mistake. The trick is to learn from it and never repeat it.
