Hey there, thank you so much for your kind offer. As you may have read of me complaining about this rebuilt shovel, The creep who sold it to me used all broken worn out parts just to make a fast buck. So now that I have a rebuilt four speed transmission, all I need is everything that goes between the inner and out primary chain case including a primary chain, the clutch assembly and the compensating sprocket. Been looking around at the quality and pricing and I have been told that I should go with American drive parts. But even a cheap barnett's clutch is around 350. to 400.00. So I have been stalling.
Once I get that done I think all I have to do is get some new forward controls...and then I can find out what else is wrong! LOL
Anyway thanks for your offer to help. And if you have any of that stuff please let me know and how much?
Hey there JC, sorry it took me a while to reply. Thanks for your interest. Right no FrankenBike sits outside on a peice of 2x4 waiting either for the first snow sure miss that gulf coast winter] or for me to get my but in gear and put my rebuilt rotary top transmission in.
Now I gotta start shopping for a clutch kit[ basket, plates, chain sprocket] Wish me luck. Sissy
