    Cammy,
I'm just about done with the never ending crossbones project. Its taken so long that once its done i think most people are going to be expecting something over the top like c.numbs bike. Don't get me wrong its gonna be bad ass but just not that bad ass! LOL!!!

Ok, so as far as the cables go, i got a clutch cable, break, and both throttle cables for just about $350 i think, i'll double check for you cause it may have been less. The web site is www.magnumsheilding.com i got my cables done in the black chromite finish. They have a bunch of different lengths including stock to choose from. they also do custom sizes as well. From talking to a rep on the phone i believe that they build orders on tuesdays. Don't know if you need that info but just thought i'd let you know. They came with everything meaning a new spring for the throttle idle cable and the little brass ends for the throttle cable hook ups on the bars. Over all i don't have any complaints with the cables. The web site has really good instructions on how to go about measuring to get the right fit. Hope that helps !

    Cammy,
Where did you get the XBones Seat? Also,
I have sent Shaun at Sokustoms a message regarding a custom worked saddle bag, but have yet to hear from him. Did it take a while for him to get back to you.

    Thanks,

    Scott (a Scottish Yankee).

when you post a reply and want to add a pic just click on the yellow box with the mountain in it above the text box next to the buttons for adjusting the text. itll pop up a window to put a link to a pic in. copy the direct link to the pic you want from either your gallery here or some other like photobucket. before you copy and paste the link in that window that pops up be sure to delete the http:// thats already in the text box since its already in the link your pasteing. im not good at describing this stuff sometimes but hope that helps.

The La Rosa is really comfortable. The quality is good, leather work is good and as long as you condition the leather it wont crack. The pan is aluminum so be VERY careful not to strip the threads when putting the bolts in. I stripped all three of my bolt holes and had to re-tap and use a larger diameter. Everything is good now though.
