I put a new throttle body on a 2004 tc88, the idle stop screw was screwed too far in an was causing the computer to adjust idle speed with mixture. This caused almost the same problem as you are having as far as pulsing rpm and poor midrange performance.
Sorry, I don't have a sound clip. If you are looking for really loud, I don't think these are the pipes for you. I have heard vance and hines slipons that sound louder. I'm happy with them
