Hey, just a question about your saddle bags. What brand? do they have a metal frame on the back? or do they just fit under the seat? Something i need this summer when i do my trips. Thanks, Bobby, Spike of woolsey
Hey bro,
I just started a group called WESTCOAST NIGHTSTERS by the name obviously for nighty riders on my side of town. I want to meet people that might want to ride with my buddies and I, check it out though. I'll be posting often with whatever I can find out, I figure since I'm digging for myself, why not share it and it also gives me a place to track back for stored solutions.
Cool bro,
Yeah I'm excited about the added performance once I get that set up, but it will be a little while before I climb that mountain. First will be these bars, I don't mind sitting straight up while riding the streets but anthing past 60 mi. and it feels like the wind blows me back (not right away but after a little while) and I won't even consider a shield, not my style. The inverts might be a bit to low for riding long distance, basing on past experience with super bikes, so I'm hoping that I can have the best of both worlds with the drags. Alright brother I'll holla at you later.
Thanks for the link. Yeah man, dyno makes big difference from the stock-setup. H-D's are not optimized in the stock setup. Love the lowrider look and makes Nightsters look badass. I'll probably go mini apes - not too high. Just enuff to straighten me out. I like both the better posture (gettin old, bro!) and better visibility. NY cagers will take you out in a heartbeat!
Hey brother, never mind on the Dyno Tune, I found the site that explains the whole thing. Here is a link in case you're interested: http://thedynoshop.com/pages/whatisDT.htm
This is my first bike not a rice rocket so I'm more used to forward lean, but with those drags it should be more of an in between position. Can't wait. I'll post pix though when done.
right on bro. Glad to hear you like the performance. Hey on that note, what does a dyno tune consist of and where do you get it done + how much $? Not to crazy about apes but to each his own. I'm obviously more of a lowerider.
no mods lately. Just working my a** off and trying to ride on my days off & when the weather allows. This summer...maybe some Flanders or HD mini apes. If cash allows, might go for a leather C & C solo seat. Tell ya, I'm real happy with the performance of my bike with the Stage 1, PCIII and pipes. If you get that goin' on' with a Dyno tune, you'll be surprised at how lawless The Outlaw really is! :-)
