Nice photo, enticing, especially knowing it was taken on Maui. I've been there two times, and once to Kauai. My two daughters, wife and in-laws are going to Maui again in March. One of the best places on earth! My bucket list includes nude sunbathing and swimming with the wife (or without if she won't go) and motorcycling around the island. I've got a Street Glide reserved through HOG Rentals. The drive around the west and north side of the island, clockwise past Kaanapali and Kapalua is awesome.
On a previous visit there, we found the local's nude beach, Little Beach (Makena) along the south/southwest end of the island. Will probably go there for the nude swimming, leave the kids with the in-laws. I know there's more than one Black Beach but isn't there one near Makena also, just north of Little Beach?
I just posted my question about women bikers on the General forum. Will see what other men have to say. I'm sure there will be plenty of smart ass comments but probably a few serious ones as well.
BTW, love the color of your RK Classic. I had my eye on a Deluxe with the same colors earlier this year.
Monstead - If you don't mind me asking, is there a story on your "apple eating" photo on your profile page? Inquiring minds want to know. My comment and your question on my first post about what men find attractive about women bikers has got me thinking to get other's opinions. Gonna start a thread later today to seek out other men's thoughts, but gotta make a breakfast ride/run now. Weather is too nice for mid November in KC to pass up.
Mary, the repaint looks much better. When I saw your bike at Sturgis I wasn't sure I liked the new faring. The repaint made a big difference.
Now you tell me about your great riding weather. If you weren't so darned "purdy" yourself I'd have to hate you. It's cool and rainy as I write this!!
Enjoy the ride.
I am hoping to have some good riding days left before the snow fly's.
Well,my bike is all put back together after all the Sturgis hail damage. Looks brand new in time for fall weather.
Did you get your fairing repainted? Pictures???
I know the roads in your California pictures. I ride them quite often. How did you like the Street Masters course? I want to take their course in 2010.
Thank you, It does look some what like the Tetons up there. I think my faviort one is of Goose Island. I think we are going to head East next year. It looks like you have a great clan to ride with and I know that makes trips so much better. But I am with you on the long stretch of roads. I think one of the best roads I have been on is Bear Tooth. I have never been to the Rally in Sturgis is it everything they say it is? I think we are going to try and make it to B.B.BQ this year. Thanks for the chat and you ride safe.
