Skip,
Just came across this group. Would like to submit my application for membership. HMC, USN, Ret.
Enlisted in 1967, made Chief in 1978 (yep, a rate grabber), but peaked early and retired in 1993, still a Chief. Was on three troop transports (two USNS and an LPA), an FF and a DDG. Spent ten years with USMC and five years with Seabees. Didn't spend much time on shore duty until the last few years.
Please don't tell me I have to consume a load of raw eggs! Never doing that again for membership in anything!
Sir, thanks for the advice. Though I'm a little hesitate to drill holes in my samson pipes. They look sweet! Anyways, I can tell that you are a seasoned and veteran rider. I have what I think is a good idea about an association for active and prior active duty service members who have, or currently ride. I'm aware that there are alot out there, but I would like to define it. It's only an idea, any help or critisism in apprecitiated.
