Dawg, Have a question I figured you could answer. I'm ordering a set of Avon Venoms for my 08 Ultra. The front is the MT90HB16-74H AM41. I was gong to order the same for the rear execpt it was the AM 42. Did an online chat with Jake Wilson and they said my rear should be 150/80/16/ should it be the HB1677H or the VB1677V? I want to make sure before I order, and yo seem to know a lot about them. Any Help will be appreciated.

Hey brother, how are you? How is the work going with your wife back at it? I've been dabbling here and there on the forum, but I'm so darn busy that I don't get much time. Not much riding going lately either... had to replace the tires. The front was worn and when we put the bike up on the lift we found a slash in the rear that was about a 1/32" from breaking through. Trying Metzlers we'll see. Also, Dave, (Indy) really thought we should go to a 30 tooth... sound familiar? So, while it was there... it was popping on decel and we found that the muffler clamp was not holding tightly enough on the pipe... fixed it with a nice neat weld; The bike really has been running great except for the popping and that is being fixed at no charge... he's got it on the dyno again-- he is a fanatic!
    What are you up to?

Hi Dawg, I got a PM from JonnyD telling me to ask you a question about how much oil my forks take to refill. I've heard it's around 11 oz and 4.21" from top but to achieve that height I have to put nearly 15 oz in.. The forks are put together and I'm adding it through the top cap. Thanks in advance for any input you have.

Hi Dawg did you change the wiring on you bike to have high beam and the passing lamps to stay on together? How about the lamp shades are you putting them on your bike? What a stand up thing you are doing for the 2 sisters. Pat yourself on the back you and your wife deserve it.

    Later Brian
PS is removing the inner fairing a fairly easy job if I go and buy a manual?
