Hello -- I just noticed this message. Thanks for the compliments. I see you ride an FXD, as well -- it looks nice.

I loved the struts in terms of the simple, clean look. But I have them off right now, and some 11 inch Progressive's on instead. Keeps the same height as the struts (11 inch Paughco's), but much smoother. I didn't mind the ride with the struts, really. It was a rough damn ride, and a lot of people commented on them. But I used to ride a hardtail years ago, and it didn't bother me that much. But I put a removable pillion on the bike so I could take my wife out once in a while, and let's just say, the struts and my wife did not get along.

I'm making a few other changes to the FXD, including some slightly higher bars (t-bars). I'll post a few pics, probably end of the week.

    Thanks for the note.

Dig your bike, bro ... great job with the blacked out wheels, lower sliders, and heat shields. I like the contrast of the outer edge of the rims. The struts lower your bike nicely, but I'm not into them generally. How do they ride.

Great job with your bike ... take care.
