Default My new video : 3 minute ride, multiple camera angles

A short 3 minute video of one of my rides. This was my first attempt at editing multiple camera positions together into one seamless flow. As I said, my first attempt.

Neat video. Was it shot in Nevada, Arizona or maybe Utah? Was the road that desolete or did you edit out any other vehicles?

Just saw the www.ridesincity. so that probably answers the question about where it was filmed.

The road is just outside of Las Vegas in the Lake Mead National Park. It's a short road that you take to Callville Bay when you exit Northshore Rd.

I had to run that road about 12 times to get all the camera angles.

I did the video on a Friday so there were not a lot of cars. What cars that made it into the video were edited out by using a different camera angle at that moment. On weekends the road is highly traveled as it's basically one of two boat ramps left that you can launch from coming from Vegas because of the low water level.

Camera is a GoPro Hero Wide using either the roll bar mount or the suction cup mount.

The hard part is editing the road at the same spot during screen transitions. So when the screen changes from one view to another view, it is at the same mile marker. Then of course making sure the audio never changes so that the original sound track of the bike is heard from beginning to end. Next time I'll take my audio gear out and see if I can get some good audio to use in the video as well...and I have more ideas for camera angles as well.

I'm just trying to get a little bit better each time.
