Wondered what you thought of this new Tacho for Softails.

That's actually pretty sweet. You planning on making it available for non-Softail models?

Default Tested with Polarized Sunglasses?

Have you checked to make sure that you can see the readout with polarized sunglasses?
Sometimes the displays go all purple and black, and you cant read them.

Otherwise, it's pretty cool.

How does it get the temp reading?

The temp reading is done via a bolt on thermister built-in to the cable harness. Its very acurate and bolts on to the block.
I will check the polarised Sunnies - Although I dont think it will be a problem because the mono lcd displays are great in sunlight and mostly its only colour that has the polarising problem. Good ooint though so I will double check.

Cheers
Mike

Definitely check polarized glasses. It's kind of like when I pull up to gas pumps. I sometimes have to lift them to read the display.

Where can I get one? Did you check it for polarized glasses?
