It is not to bad if you go slow and the rest of the cars are stop or moving about 5-10 mph. but sometimes you get a dummy that has to go 45 in between cars, I do not know about you guys but going 45mph about 1 foot away from a car in not a wise choice especially when the car are running. One day coming home from work and the traffic was stop and I was splinting lanes I look in my mirrors and saw a bike tailgating I had to move over in to the lane to allowed him to pass. Then the traffic pick up and a car decide to change lanes sure thing the bagger hit the driver side of the car he fell of course but he was not hurt his bike was damage

Just think about how ya'll would feel if you were ridin along and a car coming up from behind decided to split lanes to pass you. Yeah, real smart!
I'd say leave the lane splitting to the dumb asses that wanna die, and I'll vote for the way that they do it in Dixie!

one of the MAIN reasons I ride is the option to split lanes. HD's slogan seems very apropos here: if I have to explain.....
