Default RE: Not a Harley but a 140MPH wheelie

For all of you fine gentleman who were questioning the was it KPH that IS the answer.
The video is genuine the speed is deceptive. In europe and other foreign countries including Canada the speedometers are in KPH and the inner dial is MPH if they even have one.

So you're saying that the outer dial in the video is km/h? Well, it isn't. The outer dial is MPH. If you look at 70 in the outer you see the inner dial reading 110 just before. Well, 70 mph is 112 km/h, so there you have it. Outer = MPH, inner = KM/H.

If the outer dial were km/h the speedo would only go to 220 km/h (~140 mph)? Does that seem likely on a 190 mph bike?

Naa, sportbike speedometers run off the front sprocketthese days.

And yep, there is approximately 10% speedometer error.
220-10% = 198mph

Talked to a guy riding a busa on a track who dumped it at 195 and slid for a few football fields. If he hit anything he would have died.
How about Ron Cook dumping his bike twice over 175 - first time dragged him 1000ft ...
I had a Kaw 900 that would do the high speed wobbles at top speed (130mph poop fest)- despite 2 steering dampners....
I hope I never ride a bike over 100 again - it's just pushing it....
