OK, but nothing here is pulling down on the front end, or pushing up on the frame, as you described in your post. So, I can't follow what you are doing. It probably doesn't matter, since you have probably considered all of the ramifications of what you are doing to lift your trikes. I just roll mine around as required, and reach underneath when necessary. I just wanted to make a cautionary comment, but it was probably not needed.

The front wheel is clamped in a vise which is shown in the picture and the back would be raised by sliding a jack under the trike and lifting it.
