Jim, I also want to thank you for taking the time to take the night shots. Bling by day, mega lit up by night. I really love how the front of the bike looks and how all the lights go together on the fairing and mirrors. Nice lines!!!

I know you did. Only poking some fun. Basically regardless what some one buys they will have some problems with it. I have never bought a product that was perfect.

The Corvette to match my bike is now my favorite mod. I'll have to put it on my wish list.

It wasn’t my intention to match them but somehow we seem to get caught in color cycles in this household and either end up with a fleet of all black vehicles, all silver vehicles or all red vehicles. I guess those must be the only colors in the world.

Presently, all of our daily driver cars are silver and the standing joke around here is when my wife goes out and I ask here which car she going to take, she replies…
“the SILVER one”!

I remember a couple of ol chevy's back in the day that I thought were perfect, of course they were not! Most of us expect a few ticks with a new product and are very tolerant. Every Tri Glide problem to date except for the heat are miniscule and but small irratants.

The engineered in heat problem that is an engine killer is in a leaque of it's own. Harley made the coinscious decision to put that Cat in the headpipe on a bike that was already running to lean. If they had at minimum used a bolt in cat instead of going the cheap route and blowing the material back in the head pipe it would have made it easier on the buyer.

We could have used the old "test pipe" to replace it.

It Harley had only water cooled those heads we would have still had a decent product in 2010. Most of us like to tweak the things anyway, we don't sweat the small stuff. Just part of the Harley Cult, and we will work around the heat thing.

Harley is just pushing the envelope on how much we will endure to stay loyal to the brand!
