Welcome aboard Steve!! I must say I am very envious of you having a rhsg 2010 TG!
I'm sittin' here scratchin' my head and tryin' to figure out how you got the red hot sun glow 2010 model so soon. Congrats! I guess the MoCo doesn't like us back here on the east coast.

Boom, thanks.

My boss saw two red ones in the next town over. Might have been a 2009 or a conversion maybe. The dealer where I bought mine, had a black one as well, which sold the same day as mine. They said their next one wouldn't be there until Feb 2010.

I have another question about my Flhxxx. The trike did not come with an engine guard so I may have hwy pegs. It seems that there hasn't been anything made that would fit. Has anyone have any suggestions it's a 2010 Street Glide trike with a front end stabilizer.

Wow thats a good one, I haven't seen anything in the Moco's P&A book for this. You might check Drag Specialties, maybe they have something.

Will the ones for the dresser trike fit. I looked at both front ends and couldn't see a difference.

I've been wondering if the mufflers are a bit more opened up for the 2010s since they added a cat in the headpipe and have created extra back pressure? My rocket III also has a cat just past the head pipe. When the cat bypass is used the mufflers are a bit louder as the cat serves as another baffle.

Just curious if anyone has an idea.

Steve

Putting spill bars from a Triglide Ultra is another option. Only problem is some folks like the stripped look which this would go against that look.

The mufflers are the same as the 09's which I believe are the same as the 08 Touring models. I believe the cat does add some sound deadening. My dads Triglide is louder than mine and I had a chance to hear 2 2010 Ultra LTD's a couple weeks ago. Both bikes rolled into Smokey Mountain HD while I was waiting for my Triglide to be serviced. One had Rinehart slip ons and the other had stock. Both sounded identical in volume with the only difference I could detect was the Rineharts gave just a touch deeper exhaust note. If a person is looking for loud and the have a 2010 they're going to be disappointed because the Moco muffled pretty good with the cat from the factory.

If they only pick up a little bit of noise, I'd be very happy. Had Rineharts on the SERK and couldn't hear a thing after long rides. Semi-quiet ain't all that bad.

As for the cat, I don't want to mess with the headpipe since Murphy's Law says as soon as I do, Kalifornia will start smog checking motorcycles. I think I'll keep my eye on the head pipes FuelMoto is working on. Worth a wait. I'm hoping for a very stock look so I don't have to deal with any warranty boogieboos every time I take it in for service.
