Well we dropped of the Wife' 07 SG to the dealer along with the Title.
This way he can try to sell it while the weather is still nice and people
are looking for bikes. Now she has to wait until end of August for her
2010 Hot Red Sunglo Tri Glide. We took a ride to another dealer that
had 2 black 09 Tri Glides in stock. I brought the card Harley sent to
us to Demo any bike and get a gift ;-)
LOL .... Didn't tell them we already got one on order. Lynn got to
demo the last one at even another Dealer so it was my time to enjoy
the ride. She came along but this Dealer made one of their employees
lead us on a 10 mile loop. It was OK because he knew all the local
roads with alot of curvy roads and that is what I wanted to see for
myself on how the Tri Glides turn. I did not find it a problem at all and
I truely enjoyed the whole ride. Now I don't know who is wanting
the new Tri Glide more ... Lynn or me .... LOL .....
I told her she will definatly not miss her SG once she spends a
whole day riding her new bike.
BTW .. I told her it was her 30th wedding anniversary present (June 30th).

Was your dealer able to give you a ship date? My dealer was able to give me a ship date for my 2010 Flame Blue Pearl & Briliant Silver Pearl Tri Glide, Aug 14. I'm hoping it comes in on time because I have a trip to TN with the wife at the end of August.

Only that it was in their 1st Sept shipment and she said maybe even in late August
which she and we are hoping. She is going to the dealer show and told us she would
call us from there to let us know of any changes. She was also hoping to get a
" build date " on it too.
BTW .... She only confirmed the colors as being the same as the 09's.
Black, Blue & Red .... We saw the color chart at another Dealer where Lynn 1st
demo'ed a Tri Glide 2 weeks ago but it only showed " ALL " the colors and not
which ones were available with each specific model. Not that Lynn wants another
color anyway because she fell in love with Red Hot Sunglo when came out in 08
and she was ready to trade her's in on a 08 for it ;-)
What other colors and combos where you able to find out ?

I don’t want to be a pessimist but I would be very surprised if either of you receive your TG on time!
When my TG was on order back in March, the “Ship Date” was pushed back twice and the dealer said: “the way deliveries are going, he would not be surprised if it was pushed back again”.
After hearing that, I canceled the order and found a dealer that had one in stock.
Good luck to both of you; I hope that Harley resolved their shipping problems and you get your bikes when promised!

What other colors and combos where you able to find out ?
Red Hot Sunglow, Black, Flame Blue Pearl, Flame Blue Pear & Brilliant Silver Pearl 2 tone. These were the colors that the dealer was able to choose from when they looked at it in the computer. The bike is in their 1st allotment also and the computer still shows a ship date of Aug 14. Of course we all know it can be sooner or later than what the computer shows.

TheJimer & ko4qc - That's OK if it comes in later. Lynn has her Dyna to ride and I also
told her at my 20k checkup (have just over 16k now) I am having my 07 Ultra lowered
so she can ride when she feels she misses her SG (My Ultra already has the removable
tour-pak).
msocko3 - I am going to guess the 2-tone would be in the same places as my 2-tone
Ultra. The only difference may be that there will be a color on the fenders ?
Those colors should be nice ! I was suppose to get a Blue/Silver 2-tone back in
1998 on my Classic but didn't want to wait for one so I got a solid color red one.

Just got the word from our Dealer.
Lynn will have her 2010 TG by the end of August !
They got the confirmation Date of delivery ..... Yahooooooooooo
Going to ride over there on Friday and see some new brochure they
have about it and see if they have exact Date of Delivery.
Would like to be there when it arrives :-)
