Sidecar for 2014 Dyna Street Bob?
Hope this is the right spot for this. I'm new here. I have a 2014 Dyna Street bob, very very low miles (under 1k) mint. I'm a little odd, I like the vintage Harleys with the side cars, ww2 bikes with side cars. My ol lady likes them too, and she would be the one riding in it. I have been digging around looking at some pics. I'd like it paint matched to my satin blacl, and matching wheel. Clean neat. I need to take a tool bag and some thing to work daily, and if I had the space I could ride my bike to work, as it is not I can't take everything with me. So the bike sits. It's just too wonderful to be sitting in the shop all the time. I also have a small daughter that would love to ride in it
So is anyone running one? Brand recommendations? Pics? Pointers? I understand it changes the handling, but I'm not a fast rider. I cruise at about 60 or so. I have a healthy respect for my bike.

If your trying to go with a vintage look Champion, Motivation Spyder and Liberty are your best bets. My favorite sidecar is the Hannigan Classic. It has a more modern look (would go great with a club style Dyna with FXDXT, FXRP or HD 1/4 fairing. The Hannigan Classic has a hinged hatch to allow easy access for passengers that also allows a soft top to be used. If you've ever tried to get in and out of a traditional HD styled sidecar you'll understand why the Hannigan is so nice. Also, you won't suffer passengers dragging their feet over the body and scratching your paint.

Consider also getting a leading-link front end
Putting a leading-link front end on it will probably improve the steering effort and handling (I know a couple of sidecar guys, not harleys, that say it makes a big difference over the stock forks, as the stockers are designed to turn when the bike leans and point straight ahead when the bike is upright, but the LLs work when the bike stays vertical...
That said, most HD outfits seem to use their stock forks or springers (which are a type of leading-link, albeit with less-than-ideal geometry for sidecar use, but probably easily modifiable).

I picked up a used Velorex 700 sidecar from a used vehicle listing and mounted it to my 2002 FXD. I replaced the body with one more suited for my dog but plan to make a more traditional wood body one day.
I haven't made any modifications to the bike and it handles fine.
