Navy 73-77... AME in VA-83/CVW-17 aboard USS Forrestal.2 Medcruises in 1974 and 1975. Land based at Cecil Field, Fl when not deployed. Squadron flew A-7E's at the time...Now flying F/A-18's. Hey Milt, what years were you in VF-11?

I did 3 westpacs,and 1 med., I have been to 37 countries, spent 10 years in Naval special warfare as a boat guy, I was an intructor, military police officer, housing office liason, I retired off ofthe D.D.EisenhowerCVN 69 in 2002.
Army for 3 years, then Coast Guard for 27 years. Flew as crew as H-52's, H-3's, H-65's and C-130's. Retired this summer and had to get a "real job". Good to see another "Coastie" on the board.
Helo ops in Mobile Bay, three times a day, hoists and "guard" while they autogyrated and landed in the water in the old H52's and H3's
