For me it was originally to get information about how to do things to my bike, and to get others opinions on setups that they already had. Now it has become to try to start thread that I can get a good conversation about bikes or something realted to started, and to see how it evolves. I have come to love the forums. It is my home in my web browser. The threads that I start I try to make relevant to things that happen to bikers only, like how to keep road dust and small rocks from hitting you in the face on the freeway(bandana thread) etc. I think this keeps things interesting for people who have similar experiences on the road. Enough from me here...

I found this place while looking for info on how many miles was too many on a used bike. I ended up meeting some great people and made some friends. This place is a second family to me. I guess I don't really have a goal at this point. I just come here to hang with friends.
I came here when my wife gave me the bike bug. I came here to learn and found it to be very entertaining and informative. The people in this forum are great and have answered all the questions that I have asked.
