There are people here that take their bikes to the dealer to change the light bulbs. A service manual would be Greek to them.

Questions are what keeps this Forum running and interesting. Questions help form friendships and riding buddies. Everyone doesn't need a manual, that's why we have a Forum. I do like the weapon photos. Nice 50 caliber plinking rifle.

I can't spell or type very well, but I do own a Harley-Davidson shop manual for both of my bikes. I happen to like the old Henry, Marlin, and Winchester leaver action rifles. Slow, but fun and cheeper to shoot!

That's the sporting aspect of it. Kind of like "barking" a squirrel. You don't aim at the critter, you aim just below it and let the debris that is blasted up kill it. Less damage that way.

I know my way around Harleys, but I still get the correct shop manual for my bikes.

The service manual is helpful for me to figure out what I can take care of myself, and what I call the professionals for. I like to ride, not know how each part of the motorcycle interacts with the others. I may not be able to fix it on the side of the road, or fix someone else's broken bike on the side of the road, but I most certainly can, have and would offer a phone or ride, and would hope for the same.
