hang it up wrapped up in a trash bag with 6 or 8 charcoal bricks in it the charcoal will absorb the odor I have done this with cars and it works real well
Dang, I just want to know where I can get some trash bags that big.

I'd think that putting it on fluff in the dryer with a couple dryer sheets would help. Then I'd hang it outside just to be safe.
I've had the same thing with my leather jackets going into bars. Mostly they smell like grease. A couple days out side usually helps.
