Washing machine on light. Let dry with a fan or a long summer ride. After dry spray with waterproof spray so it will not happen again.

Do not take it to the dry cleaners, it will be ruined. Just wash the zip out liner, wipe the jacket down with a damp cloth then hang it outside.

+1 on the newspapers idea. Newspapers took the smell of gasoline out of my watchband. You have to crumple them up though, not just lay them flat.

Soak it in beer and motor oil overnight, and then hang it outside in the elements for a few days.

The 'cigarette smell' will be a thing of the past.....
