"...Took 12 shots with a .45 colt revolver to finish him off and he was already almost dead..."

Trap and shoot wild hogs all the time. Don't remember it taking more than 2 shots at even the largest hog.Them Pot bellied hogs must be tough to hit running around the house.

I attached a pic of one shot in Texas.

That picture if the hog is decent in size but the men in the picture are about 10 feet behind it giving the illusion it is bigger than it really is. Also i am almost certain that hog was not killed in the USA. that picture has been floating around hunting forums.

Buc, you should start a separate string for your question. Probably get more and better answers. Dennis

hey Bucsbabe, go back the General Harley-Davidson forum page and look on the left side you'll a box "New Thread" and ask your question as a new topic. There are lot of knowledgeable folks here, in fact I bet one has the whole H-D alphabet somewhere. Welcome to the forum and I hope you have some thick skin cause at times one needs it. Again, welcome.

All Harley models begin with the letter F with the exception of Sportsters. They start with the letter X. The second lettter "L" means it has a large front wheel/tire, whereas "X" has a skinny tire. So all big twins will begin with either FL or FX.
